Coastal Limes | A Styled Wedding Shoot at The Landing, Warrnambool
The Coastal Limes content day at The Landing in Warrnambool was one of those shoots that was impeccably planned, beautifully executed, and somehow still full of happy surprises.
When Sophie from Forever and a Day Styling reached out and invited me to be part of it, I didn't hesitate for a second.
This is one of the things I love most about this industry. Content days like this one bring together some of the most talented local wedding vendors in south west Victoria and create space for pure creativity. Without the weight of a real wedding day on your shoulders, you can just play. Experiment. Make something you're genuinely proud of.
And this one delivered.
The Vision
The Coastal Limes concept was fresh, crisp and effortlessly luxe. Think lime green and white, silver accents, margarita towers, shell details and a colour palette that felt like summer on the south west Victoria coast. Sophie's vision was clear from the moodboard and every single vendor brought it to life in the most stunning way.

The Day
We were at the mercy of the weather and the weather was... grim...
What could have been a challenge turned into some of my favourite images from the entire shoot. During our staged first look moment, the rain came in and instead of stopping, we kept going. The result was something I couldn't have planned if I tried. Raindrops on the bride's skin, moody light, two people looking at each other like nothing else existed. I'll let the photo speak for itself.
When it came time for the ceremony stage, the skies cleared and the wind dropped and I could have cried with gratitude. What Sophie had created on that lush green lawn was nothing short of exquisite. A white circle stage, white bentwood chairs, white plinths and the most incredible floral arrangements by Flower Trail Warrnambool in crisp greens and whites. The kind of setup that makes you stop and just take it in for a moment before you lift your camera.
It also gave me the perfect opportunity to get the drone up. From above, the ceremony space was absolutely breathtaking against the green grass and I am so glad I trusted that instinct.
